Beautifully hand carved chess set made by ‘Ifugad’ tribe craftsmen from the Northern Philippines. It features both ‘Ifagad’ & ‘Bontoc’ headhunter tribes. Come complete with solid wood chess board and storage basket. Approx. (Basket) 23cm wide x 13cm high x 17cm deep x 1.13k weight (basket & pieces). (Board) 66cm wide x 46cm high x 2.5cm deep x 3.715k weight. All in exceptionally good condition, chess board slightly warped.
