Shipping and Returns
This Shipping and Returns policy refers specifically to the way that Gdad’s Collectables Ltd handles these two areas, and specifically outlines your options and confirms what you should do on the rare occasion that you are not happy with your purchase. You should note that due to the very nature of our business, ie. the sale of antique and vintage goods, no item will be deemed as “new”. Items are generally sold “as seen” or “as described”.
Shipping
We endeavour to dispatch goods within 1-3 working days of payment. "Working days" refer to all days except Saturdays, Sundays, and English statutory and public holidays. Currently, we ship to the UK, Republic of Ireland, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, and the USA. If you're outside these areas, feel free to contact us to discuss potential shipping to other countries.
Within the UK, we use Royal Mail Tracked 48 for parcels, though delivery to the Highlands and Islands may take slightly longer. For international orders, Royal Mail International Tracked is used, with costs calculated based on weight and a small packaging fee. Shipping costs are displayed at checkout, and tracking numbers are usually included in your confirmation email.
Please note that any local import duties, taxes, or customs fees incurred are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns
When you order from us online, you are entitled to a cooling off period after despatch, when you can return your unused and unopened goods without any penalty. Our cooling off period is 14 days, which includes any statutory cooling off period. This period starts the day the contract is agreed (ie. you receive an email from us saying we have despatched your order) and ends 12 days after the day following delivery of the goods. Certain items are excluded from the cooling off period guarantee, unless we are at fault.
If you wish to return an item for any reason, you should contact us before returning your unused or damaged product and any original packaging to our address below. We also recommend you take a photograph of the item(s) before return. We will ask you to use a secure method, as we cannot be held responsible if the item does not arrive. Either a replacement product or full refund (minus the postage and packing) will be arranged promptly.
Changes to Shipping and Returns
We reserve the right to modify and update this policy from time to time, without notice. We recommend you check this policy each time before placing an order.
